Born and bred in licensed trade, Jeremy Scorer spent 15 years as the owner and operator of a small group of pubs in the East Midlands.

As a third-generation licensee, Jeremy specialises in the development and delivery of skills and training solutions for the hospitality sector and the licensed retail sector, in particular.

As the Licensed Trade Director at HIT Training – the UK’s largest specialist hospitality training organisation - challenging the educational norm is a big part of Jeremy’s approach. He strives to ensure that people looking to develop future careers in hospitality receive the best start on their career path and are equipped with the right skills with innovative training.

Having followed that journey himself, Jeremy relishes his responsibility to impart his experience to help apprentices secure their own goals which subsequently impacts positively on the sector as a whole.

Jeremy’s goal is to ensure everyone sees a career in hospitality, not just as a job, but as the profession it truly is.
