The Pub Show announces 2026 theme: The Power of Us

The Pub Show has announced its theme for 2026: The Power of Us. The theme celebrates the people at the heart of hospitality and the sense of community that defines the sector. From operators and suppliers to brewers, educators and publicans, The Power of Us recognises that it is the collective spirit of the industry that continues to drive innovation, resilience and progress.

Building on the show’s long-standing commitment to championing the pub trade, the 2026 edition, taking place from 30 March to 01 April, will spotlight the shared experience, collaboration and camaraderie that make hospitality one of the most dynamic and people-driven sectors in the UK.

Event Manager Jo Farish said: “The pub industry is powered by people. It is shaped by the ideas, expertise and passion of the individuals and teams who work tirelessly to create the warm, welcoming spaces that so many of us rely on. With The Power of Us, we want to honour that community and highlight the value of coming together to learn, network and support one another. The Pub Show has always been about connection, and this theme brings that purpose to the forefront.”

Key partners of The Pub Show have welcomed the announcement.

Steve Alton, CEO of the British Institute of Innkeeping, said: “The Pub Show brings operators, suppliers and experts together to share new ideas, best practice and provides the perfect opportunity for face-to-face networking. We’re delighted to be working with the team again this year, meeting colleagues old and new, and finding out what’s new for our vibrant and vital sector.

“Pubs are incredibly special places, but what makes them so special is the people at their heart. Those friendly faces behind the bar, looking after their customers and communities in every town and high street across the UK. Pubs connect people, launch careers, provide safe spaces for all, and in many cases are the last remaining place for people from all walks of life to come together. At the BII, we support our members, but they are the ones who support their local communities every single day.”

Emma McClarkin, Chief Executive of the British Beer and Pub Association, commented: “In bringing together people from all parts of the pub trade to discuss the various challenges that we face, but also, and perhaps more importantly, the many opportunities and innovations for us to embrace in the years ahead, the 2026 Pub Show replicates all the very best reasons why people love going to pubs in the first place – to meet people, network, catch up with old friends and exchange ideas and set the world to rights.

“Pubs have always been places where people come together, where conversations flow and communities take shape. The Pub Show’s theme of ‘The Power of Us’ captures that spirit perfectly, highlighting the vital role people play in shaping our sector. As an industry built on human connection, it’s a welcome reminder of the value of working together and celebrating our teams and the customers we serve every day.”

The Pub Show 2026 will present a comprehensive programme of talks, tastings, demonstrations and service innovations, all designed to support the sector’s continued growth and to strengthen the relationships that sit at the heart of hospitality. The show is part of Food, Drink & Hospitality Week alongside HRC, Hospitality Tech360, IFE, IFE Manufacturing and International Salon Culinaire, all taking place at Excel London from 30 March to 01 April.
